Constantina Petridou

French Teacher

At the age of 18 I discovered for the first time the country of Victor Hugo and Jules Verne, which I had only known until then through my passionate readings of their novels. I studied at Paul Valéry University, where I obtained a master’s degree in Modern Literature and a bachelor’s degree in Applied Foreign Languages.

Thanks to this immersion in French culture, I was able to acquire a deep understanding of it, necessary to teach and communicate to learners the love for the French language and culture.

In addition to my professional activity as a teacher, I also work as a sworn translator.

Jasmine Boularan

French Teacher

Passionate about literature and French literary history, I obtained in 2014 a license in Modern Literature, I then continued my two Research Masters in specialization French and comparative literature at the University Paul Valéry Montpellier III until 2016. This passion has continued to animate me and it is therefore with great joy that I decided to immerse myself further in the academic research environment with the obtaining in 2022 of a doctorate in French and Comparative Literature in co-guardianship between the University Paul Valéry Montpellier III and the University of Cyprus. This thesis project is born of this personal interest that I carried during all my years of study and that I still carry today, that of the analysis of the union of two literary worlds, French and Greek on the part of my own Franco-Cypriot origins. Today, I hope to be able to share my passion and love for the French language and culture.

During these years of study, I had the opportunity to work as a temporary student at Paul Valéry University as a tutor and library assistant. I also worked at the University of Cyprus as an administrative assistant as part of my doctoral scholarship for three years. In addition, I gave French lessons in small groups. This allowed me in addition to my university career to acquire oratory skills, to be able to make myself understood as much as possible to my auditors of foreign or French nationality but also to be at their disposal in order to better meet their requirements and needs.

Eleni Kyriakou

French Teacher

I studied French Language and Literature at the University of Cyprus. Currently, I am doing my Master in Education, Administration and Management, especially in educational institutions such as private institutes.

As a student, I had the opportunity to do my Erasmus stay in Strasbourg, at the Langues Etrangères Appliquées Department , where and I could improve my skills in writing and oral.

I am a teacher who promotes the use of technology and especially modern educational tools. During my classes, I promoted interaction between learners and the practice of the French language through creative activities. My main goal is to create a sense of admiration for French culture and language among learners.
